Privacy policy

Rekijan Apps is one person making small apps, mostly for tabletop games. This page explains what happens with your data when you use one of my Android apps. In short: the apps themselves don't collect your data, but apps that show ads use Google AdMob, and Google does collect some data for those ads.
What the apps store on your device
The apps save what you enter (for example distances, names or settings) on your own device, so you don't have to enter it again next time. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
The apps have no accounts and no servers of their own. I don't receive, see or sell any of your data.
Ads (Google AdMob)
Some apps show a small banner ad, served by Google AdMob. At the moment those are:
- Audio Book Calculator
- Element Tracker
- Fly Distance Helper
- Grocery App
- Mook Roller
To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, Google's ads software in these apps collects and shares with Google:
- your device's advertising ID and app set ID;
- your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location;
- interactions with the app and the ads, such as app launches, taps and ad views;
- diagnostic information, such as app start-up time and crashes.
Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses data from apps like these at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's full privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Your choices about ads
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before any ads are loaded. You decide whether ads may be personalised. You can change that choice at any time under Privacy settings in the app's menu.
- In US states with their own privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data for personalised ads, under Privacy settings in the app's menu.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your phone).
- Remove ads: apps with ads offer a one-time purchase to remove them. After that purchase the app no longer loads Google's ads software at all.
Purchases
Purchases (such as Remove ads, or a tip for the developer) are handled entirely by Google Play. I don't see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation from Google Play that a purchase was made, and remembers on your device that ads are removed. Google Play's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
Children
The apps are not aimed at children under 13 and are not meant to be used by them.
Your rights
Because I don't hold any of your data, there is nothing for me to show, change or delete. For the data Google collects for ads, you can use the choices above or contact Google through its privacy policy. If you have a question about this policy, you can email me at rekijan.apps@gmail.com.
Changes
If an app starts handling data differently, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
This policy covers all Rekijan Apps apps except Secret Roller, Initiative Tracker and Rekijan Combat Tracker, which have their own privacy policies: Secret Roller, Initiative Tracker and Rekijan Combat Tracker.
